1. 11/32 socket wrench
2. No. 2 Philip screw driver
3. Tie wrap tool
4. Wire cutter, angle tipped is
recommended.
Procedures:
1. Spread the soft foam pad
that comes with the packing material on a tabletop.
2. Lay the monitor on the foam
pad with the screen facing down. Remove
the monitor from its stand by first lifting out the small rear cover and then
removing four metric screws from its stand.
Store the stand in the original box with its associated hardware. In case of warranty service, you will need to
put the monitor back into its original configuration.
3. Then position the Q-2010-RK
on the back of the Viewsonic VP201b monitor.
Pick the best set of four holes to mount the monitor so that it will
appear even between the top and bottom edges.
In case you need to drill another hole pattern,
use a 3/16” (0.188”) drill and drill a 4-hole pattern at 100 mm or 3.936”
centers in line vertically with the existing holes.
4. Insert one set of No. 8 lock
washer, No. 8 flat washer, and 4 mm X 16 mm metric screw into each of the four
mounting holes. Then securely tighten
all four screws.
5. The cable clamps provided
are used for tying down the power cable and the SVGA monitor cable. If they are not the right sizes, please use
your own or secure the cables with 4” or 5” tie wraps onto the cable clamps.
6. Trim all tie wraps with a
wire cutter.
7. Use the black 10-32 screws
with No. 10 nylon washers to secure the rackmount assembly onto your rack.
